The hotel exceeded my expectations with its clean and spacious rooms, well-maintained gardens, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the stay enjoyable, although the dining experience had some room for improvement. The location was lovely, with great views, but the Wi-Fi was not inclusive and required separate payment, which was a bit of a downside.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with the rooms being clean and comfortable, and a lovely lakeside view where friendly ducks added to the charm. The service was friendly yet had its moments of inconvenience, especially during dining. While the location is perfect for exploring the Tarkine, the lack of proper ventilation in the rooms was a downside. Overall, it’s a good value for money with some room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable, featuring a nice lakeside view with friendly ducks around. However, the lack of blockout curtains made it hard to sleep with the early sun, and the musty smell was noticeable since the room seemed stuffy and not properly aired out before our arrival.
Service

The staff were friendly and quite helpful, always willing to assist whenever we needed something. However, there were times when the service was almost unpleasant, particularly when it came to resolving some dining issues.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The rooms were large and well-appointed, making it easy to get some work done in comfort. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Tarkine Drive, although the noise from the rodeo made it difficult to relax at times. Overall, it offered great value for the price, despite some minor inconveniences.

My room was massive, clean, and had every luxury I could ask for. It was a bit noisy outside due to the rodeo, but the space was great for doing work.

While the dinner I ordered was delivered with all the trimmings at no extra cost, it was at an unsafe temperature, which was disappointing. However, breakfast was a nice continental option and quite generous.

The facilities were great, and I appreciated the amenities provided, even though I didn't get to use everything due to the noise outside.
